WDANZ Members agree to conduct business by the following Code of Ethics
Members agree to:
- Conduct business in compliance with the New Zealand Fair Trading Act, the Privacy Act, and all applicable New Zealand laws.
- Provide a professional, commercial service to the public, which may include the following:
- Supply a prospective client with written documentation prior to commencing business;
- Supply written Terms & Conditions prior to commencing business;
- Supply full and clear explanations of processes, timeframes and work to be undertaken prior to commencing business;
- Undertake any commercial work to a professional standard;
- Provide timely responses to any client questions and queries.
- Disclose any conflict of interest with clients, suppliers or WDANZ prior to commencing any business.
- Respect the right of other WDANZ Members to conduct business in their own capacity and to refrain from obstruction or public denigration of other Members' business.
- Initiate appropriate professional action following any WDANZ mediation event.
