Internet UNMASKED!! Christchurch Event
On Thursday 6th August 2009, WDANZ will be holding an Internet UNMASKED!! event in Christchurch. The subject will be Thought Leadership; Winning in the digital world.Subtitled "Seven concepts essential to building a modern web integrated business" we will be explaing how the Internet has changed time-honoured ways of business forever. Successful modern businesses do more than simply plug a website into their business - they understand the new technology and the associated paradigms.
Many companies, like Google or Open Source software developers, now have an "upside-down" approach to doing business where enormous value can be created by giving away goods or services previously sold and jealously guarded as corporate property. Dennis will take attendees on an exciting journey explaining conceptually how any traditional business can grasp the power of the Internet and transform themselves into industry thought leaders, and grow their business while others around them may be hurting, hemorrhaging, downsizing or dying.
This one hour presentation will be followed by a workshop where local WDANZ members can assist with Internet and website guidance.
